Security Pass

Concerning the national security from maritime transport threats, the attention was called on the role that the port technical-nautical services can have on it.
The technical-nautical services operators are, almost always, the first connection between the port and the ships. For this reason it becomes natural that they must refer every irregular aspects to the Maritime Authority.
For security reasons and in order to identify quickly the vessels, the pilots, boatmen and mooringmen nautical crafts must be clearly recognizable thank to the signs of its own service while the personnel must have an identification card (Security pass) with picture and personal information both in Italian and English, in accordance with the national exclusive model proposed by the Category Associations and approved by the Harbour Authorities General Command.
